Son of Ethel Shreve and Arthur Harding Alexnder of North Buxton. Brother of Arthur and Gloria (Roby) and Ron. Married to Elsie (deceased 1989) Living in North Buxton with his wife and their children Phillip Henry and David Valoure.

Phillip was called up to the camp in Chatham for military training in March of 1942. CDN 14/03/42 along with three other men from North Buxton. S. D. Rhue, A. Alexander.

In 1944 the Merlin Standard reported that Cpl. Alexander was stationed at Niagara Falls. Mrs Alexander was living in Windsor, ON. The MS 1/06/44 reported that Cpl. Alexander, stationed at Niagara Falls his wife and baby Philip were spending a week at his parents home in Merlin. 

‘Phil’ joined the army and saw service in England, France, Italy and Holland.

Phillip was a carpenter and cabinet maker doing custom work for many Windsor businesses. He was a member and Sunday School superintendent at First Baptist Church in Windsor. Phillip died 6/06/2011, at the age of 95.  The internment at North Buxton Cemetery.
