In March 1915 now showing on 1st S. S. Coy at London, ON. 23/06/15. 30/04/17 SOS – ABSENT:- 30/04/17. Noted as “Deserted”.      

Deserter by Court of Inquiry. PARDONED under General Amnesty : – 20/12/1920. (It may have been his brother in his place and found out).

It was reported that he also enlisted as Aikin.
