Private John Lloyd Adams left for overseas with a draft from the 1st. Depot Battalion February 28th, 1918 on the Grampian, and after a short training with the 4th. Reserve Battalion, crossed to France May 1st, to the 47th. Canadian Battalion, September 27th, 1918, he received a gunshot wound in the right thigh, and, after hospital treatment in England, left for Canada January 18th, 1919.
Private John Lloyd Adams received his discharge February 14th, 1919, due to demobilization.
