From Chatham, ON.  The son of Mrs. R. H. Abraham of Victoria Ave., Chatham, ON. In March of 1944 Bill was at RCAF I.T.S. – Toronto, ON when he was home on a weeks furlough. CDN 14/03/44   Served eighteen month in Canada, then saw overseas duty. Promoted from AC2 to Sergeant.

While serving overseas he was stationed at Coventry, England until wars end. William was reported returning from overseas aboard the troopship “Stratheden” docking at Quebec City on 2/08/45.

Discharged September 14th, 1945.

After the war Bill began a photography career at the “Bill Dolomore Studio” in Chatham, later working with his brother-in-law Albert at “Trotter Photography”.Bill married Mary Elizabeth (nee Mann) in 1950 and the couple moved to Corunna and once established there began their family, son Michael and daughters Suellen (Romard) and Carol (Little).

Bill and Mary were well known in Corunna for their gardening, golfing and curling, Bill worked at Dow and Mary was a nurse.
