Medical report – “Enclosed herewith Medical Board Proceeding held in the case of marginally noted soldier who was discharged on 24th June, 1918 as medically unfit for further service. Was hospitalized 6/06/18 to 17/06/18 (VDG) = Gonorrhoea – Partial loss of function urinary organs , About two years age Urethral discharge in perineum about one year ago. Broke down with formation of fistulae. Probable duration – PERMANENT Category E.”
