Florence served with CM-HQ in London, England and with the 2nd Echlon in Belgium for eight months.  The CDN 21/06/45 reported that she was arriving home. Next of Kin: Mrs. M. Shulver (mother) of 151 Forest St., Chatham, ON.

Florence served with CM-HQ in London, England and with the 2nd Echlon in Belgium for eight months with the invasion troops. In a letter to her mother she stated that ,”one of the things which impressed her in Belgium when she first arrived was the abundance of food enjoyed by the civilians of the country.” She was also surprised at how many women were wearing fur coats, like pre-war years. This was different  from the suffering of the British who had so little.

Sgt. Shulver was discharged from military service in August, 1945 with the rank of Sergeant. CDN 21/08/45.
