Harry was a First Nations person, a single labourer living in Coatsworth. Attestation: 1/05/1916 at Essex, Essex Co. to the 99th Bn. He would be transferred to the 20th Bn. (Queen’s Rangers) in the 2nd Division’s, 4th Brigade.By September of 1916 he would be involved in the blood-bath on the Somme in the battles around Courcelette, it would be his last conflict.
