Born 1/08/15 from the Merlin area. Denton enlisted in the RCAF 30/03/1940.   The Merlin Standard 17/04/41 reported that he was stationed at RCAF Calgary, AB and was on a two week leave to visit his family at home.  Married Nora Luella (nee Neaves) in June of 1943, and they had three sons. 

Stationed at Jarvis, ON. He spent a few days at his home. Merlin Standard (1944 date unknown). The MS 22/06/44 reported That Sgt. Sales  stationed at Jarvis spent a week at his home in Merlin.  The  MS 20/07/44 reported that Sgt. D. Sales had returned to Jarvis after spending a few days at his home.

The MS 1944 (date unknown reported that Sgt. Sales arrived from Vulcan, AB. and  would be posted to Jarvis. The  MS 20/07/44 reported that Sgt. D. Sales had returned to Jarvis after spending a few days at his home.

Denton was discharged 5/07/1945 at Toronto, ON. 

James Denton would pass away 29/12/71.
