Attestation: 21/09/1915 at Chatham, ON. to 70th Bn. Found at Erie St. United Church, Ridgetown Roll of Honour. Military Medal citation in London Gazette 24/01/1919.

Harry’s mother requested some relief from the War Service Gratuity  but was refused.

According to information from the CVWM as follows: “killed in Action instantly by an enemy shell during operations at Iwuy on the morning of 11 October, 1918.” E. Edwards  Age 22 years.
