CEF. Service O/S. 18th Batt. Medical completed at Chatham, ON. 13/11/15. Camp Borden 15/09/16.  16/11/15 to 91st Batt. CEF. Board “Fit” promoted to acting Cpl.

Departed Halifax 28/03/17 aboard S,S. Lapland 25/03/17. Arrived in England 7/04/17 aboard the S.S. Lapland. Debarked in England at Liverpool. TOS with the 4th Reserve. TOS Segregation Camp – Transferred to 4th Cdn. Overseas to 18th Batt. WIA 27/05/18   

Cpl. Ritchie was wounded, a Shrapnel Wound to his Buttock 26/05/18 admitted to 2nd London Field Ambulance 26/05/18. He received a shrapnel wound to his buttock and rejoined his unit 8/06/18.
