Born 3/03/1911 at Tilbury, ON.  The son of Mr. Bruce and Minnie O. Richardson of Tilbury. James attended public school in Tilbury and the Continuation School there and the Chatham Collegite Institute in Chatham, ON. He graduated MD. From the University of Western Ontario doing his internship in Windsor, ON. at Hotel Dieu Hospital and at London, ON. at Victoria Hospital.

James was reported as seriving overseas with the RCAMC in November of 1943. TT 18/11/43.  Reported returning from oversea aboard the Ile de France, after serving for three and a half years overseas.. CDN 12/07/45.

After the war Dr. Richardson would establish a General Practice in Tilbury, ON. Afa: KCFA, RLC, TT-18/11/43, CDN – 12/07/45, 2/01/46, TLAN.
