The son of Rev. and Mrs. E. A. Richardson of North Buxton. The Merlin Standard reported Pte. Richardson spent a week-end with Mrs. Richardson at North Buxton. The MS 8/06/44 reported of London returned to his home on a short leave. The MS 15/06/44 of Camp Ipperwash with his wife at her mother’s, Mrs. Maceo Shreve.
It was reported in the CDN 9/08/45 that prior to his return from overseas he was with the Army of Occupation in Belgium and Holland. He was on a 30 day leave after volunteering for the Pacific. Reported returned from overseas 25 July, 1945. Reported volunteered for the Pacific theatre August, 1945. CDN 14/08/45.
