Born about 1922 in Gosfield North Twsp., Essex Co., ON. Son of Ralph and Bertha (Williamson) Reive, brother of Audrey, Alfreda (Carder), Elmer ‘Jack’, Douglas and George. Husband of Audrey (Hornick) who passed away 23 June, 2010.
Joe served in the RCAF from 1942 to 1945. The CDN 11/03/43 reported that Garnet Joseph was on a furlough from Winnipeg, Man. A party, organized in Turin with games contests and musical numbers were enjoyed. Frank Manning presented Garnet a pen and pencil set
Garnet Joseph re-enlisted in 1958 – 1970. Living in Highgate. LAC. Reive passed away 29 December, 2010 at the Babcock Community Centre, Wardsville, interment at the Gosnell Cemetery, Highgate, ON. RI 5/01/11.
