Born 8 July, 1922. The son of Leora (nee Davis) and Henry ‘Harry’ Pepper; the brother of Ruby (Bailly) and Stan. Harry married Margaret (nee Smith) and they had Douglas and Keith. Their grandchildren included Jeff, Marty Mathew, Allison and Andrea, Prior to his enlistment he was working in the vulcanizing trade.

Harry enlisted in Windsor, ON 2 February, 1943. He spent eight weeks with the Kent Regt. in Chatham. He was rated as a Class A Mechanic and was posted to Vancouver. He never went overseas.

The CDN 21/09/43 reported that Harry who was stationed at Prince Rupert was spending a furlough with his parents at Valetta, Kent Co.

The MS 1944 (date unknown) reported Harry was leaving for Victoria, BC., his wife was returning to BC with him.

Harry passed away 29 April, 2006 with interment at the Stewart Cemetery, Merlin, ON.
