Served overseas three years. Son of William Edgar and Margaret (nee Greerson) Mugridge (Edgar passed in 1940) Margaret was living at 202 ½ Thames St., Chatham, a brother William A49512 served in the army, also Herbert and James at home.  Donald was reported returned from duty in the West Indies and was on home leave before rejoining the navy for duty in the Pacific theatre. He was reported on a twenty one day leave from HMCS Stadacona, Halifax, NS., he would be reporting for overseas duty in the Pacific theatre upon his return.  Promoted to Naval Seaman
