Born 29/01/1922 the son of William Henry and Eva Lillian Moor and brother of Edward Albert A118100, who also fell 15/08/44, also Charles, Stanley, Joseph and sisters Evelyn and Mrs. Glen Malott of Chatham, Ontario. Prior to his enlistment he was employed as a truck driver with Smith’s Cartage.

Glenn enlisted in Toronto with the Toronto Irish Regt. in April of 1941. Glen was engaged to a Scottish girl while in England but was transferred to Italy before the wedding could take place.

Age: 21, DOAI – Date of Death: 23/12/1943, The CDN 3/01/44 reported that Glenn was shot accidentally by another Canadian soldier in Italy. According to B. M McMaster in an email dated 9/11/15 “He was shot by an off duty Italian police constable. Per the trial events from Dec. 24, 1944 it was not deemed an accident.”  Glenn’s younger brother would DOW while serving in France in Sept. of 1944.”
