It was reported in the Bothwell Tmes of 6/07/16 that he was stationed in London, ON. and spent Dominion Day 1916 at his home in Bothwell. IODE(P).
Pte. Robert J. McRoberts went overseas with the 186th Battalion March 26th, 1917, proceeding to France March 27th, 1918. He there joined the 1st Batt and was wounded Aug 30th 1918 and sent to England to Hospital. When convalescent he joined the 4th Reserve Batt at Rhyl Dec 18th. Arrived in Canada Jan 20th 1919.
Discharged at London Feb 20th due to demobilization.
