Born 8/09/1924 in Tupperville the son of Hugh and Dolly McFadden, brother of Hazel (Somr), Betty (Camden), June (Harris), Bob (a twin to Betty), Jim and Hugh.

Roy enlisted in the army at the age of 19 years on 28/02/44 and served in Canada only for medical reasons until being discharged 11/04/1946.

It is reported that Roy died 5/04/2000.
