Born in Camden Twsp., the son of Allan and Alma (White) Langford. Married to Marjorie (nee Bluitt) September 1943, the father of Nancy Lynn who predeceased her father.

Theatre of Service:  Mount Royal in Montreal, Quebec; Delbert, Nova Scotia; Woodstock, Ontario.  Elmer served for four and a half years during WWII.

Elmer passed away in 30/11/2000 internment at Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery – Thamesville, ON. CFF-FD44, TVUC-RH, NB, CND-Obit(wife) 7/08/13, CDN 2/12/2000.
