The son of Andrew and Mary (nee Repka) Kankula. The husband of Margaret (nee Krisko). The father of Linda (Ramboer), Alan, Diane (Skodak), Eric, Dave.

Prior to his enlistment Andrew played professional football with the Toronto Argonauts.

Andrew enlisted in the Canadian Army.

Andrew passed away 18 Sep. 2016 at the Village in Ridgetown, ON. Burial at the Gosnell Cemetery, Highgate, ON.
