Nursing Sister Margaret Johnston left in August 1916 for England, France Nov. 1917.

Theatre :- France. Date of Service:- 15/08/16. Box 34 Montague P.E. I.

Reported  4/01/ 17:- Tonsillitis – Sisters Conv. Home – Hardelot, England. Returned to unit 13/01/17; # 8 

General – Rouen. 22/03/19 “Debility – Prince of Wales Hospital, London.  – Marifebone R. Lmg. Hernina. (Debility 8/04/19 (Debiliyy – Unfit for any service for one month) Nurse Johnston was transferred to the Cdn. Red Cross – OFFS Hospital in London, 16/04/19.

 Reported fit for General Service. In this case unfit for any service for six months – returned to Hospital in Canada. CRC Off. North Rudley. 16/04/19. Disc. 18/05/19 

Discharged 18/05/1919 and returned to Canada.  

After the war, Margaret married a Mr. Golden. Margaret J. passed away 10/04/1966 at Wellesley Hospital, Toronto, ON.
