The son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ingram of Wallaceburg, ON. The brother od William Henry, Ida (Wright) and Garnet. The husband of Bertha Marie (nee Meloche; the father of : Cecil Frederick, Ronald Ernest, Raymond Charles, Melvin Douglas, Allen Lee, Sarah (Armstrong), Carol Ann, Gloria Irene (Rivard) and Kenneth Robert. 

The WN 2/09/43 reported that Wilson was home from Alberta on a twenty-four day furlough. While he was home dozens of friends and relatives gathered at his family home to greet him.He would return to Alberta that following week. He would be stationed at Wainwright, AB 

Wilson passed away 5 February, 1985 at the age of 62 years old, internment at Riverview Cemetery – Wallaceburg, ON.
