Born in Tilbury, ON. in 1923 the  son of Charles and Margaret Faubert, of Tilbury, Ontario. Russell attended Tilbury schools and was a member of St. Andrew’s Anglican church, Tilbury.

Charles enlisted in the C.A.C. in 1941 and had been overseas for a year when he was killed.

Age: 20, KIA – Date of Death: 24/02/1945. In Holland.
