The son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Duffy of 11 Second St., Chatham, ON.

Trained in Brandon, Calgary and Trenton. Served in Canada eight months. Went overseas and served in England and Gibraltar. Promoted from AC1 to S.W.O. in Coastal Command.

The CDN 10/04/43 reported that Sgt. Duffy had recovered from injuries received in recent accident, he had also spent some time in Gibraltar and was reported back in England where he became engaged. This information came from his parents.

The CDN 24/09/43 reported that Gordon had spent a 28 days furlough at his parents before reporting back to Ottawa.         

According to the CDN 2/08/44 was married in England.
