The WN 11/06/42 reported that Pte. McKnight and Cliff Davis, stationed at Kitchener, ON. had arrived in Wallaceburg on a week-end leave. While home on leave both both men were presented with wrist watches from their friends. Clifford was helping Ferryman Dawson on the ferry Saturday night.

He was reported as serving at Camp Petawawa; E- Battery C.A.T.C. The Wallaceburg News reported that Gnr. Davis was serving overseas with the 74th Batty. Of the 6th Canadian Anti-Tank regt. RCA, serving in France. WN-date unknown.
