The CDN 27/10/43 reported that Donald had graduated at the head of his class as Instrument Mechanic from the St. Thomas Technical School 20/10/43. He was on a 14 day furlough visiting his mother Mrs. J. Darling of Lacroix St. Chatham before having to report for further training at RCAF-Dorval, PQ.
Discharged March 1946.
