Born in 1921 Next of kin listed as Mrs. Jesse Collins of Wallaceburg, the wife of Chief Constable Collins of 1102 Wallace St. Wallaceburg, ON. The brother of Betty (Schroeder) and O. J. ‘Bud’. The husband of Doreen Ada (nee Bachus), the father of Graham, Scott, Jamie.

Reported returning from overseas duty aboard HMCS St. Laurent, expected to dock at “an eastern Canadian port” soon. CDN 8/09/45, the WN (date unknown) reported that he had been overseas for two and a half years.  Reported  being welcomed back to Chatham from overseas duty by Aldermen George Kerr KC., A. G. Goodman and Bert Joyce also by Rehabilitation Officer William Foreman and Alex Copeland for the Civil Reception Committee along with hundreds of citizens. CDN 12/09/45.

Wilbur passed away 12 January, 1989 at the age of 68 years old.  Internment at Riverview Cemetery – Wallaceburg. GOHS.
