P/O. RCAF. P/O Carswell was reported returning from Ottawa to join Mrs. Carswell and their baby son who had been staying with Mrs. G.T. McKeough at Erie Manor. CDN 27/07/42.

The CDN 28/10/43 reported that Sqd. Ldr. James  and Mrs. (formerly Kitty Elliot of Ottawa) welcomed a little daughter ‘Heather’ on 18 October, 1943, she was staying in Ottawa.
