Tpr. Campbell served with the 1st Canadian Armoured Brigade in Sicily, Italy, Holland and Germany between 1942 and 1946. William died at the age of 75 in Montreal, PQ. 7 August, 1998 and was buried in the Morpeth Cemetery, Howard Twsp., Kent Co., ON.
