European, Africa Midland Service Medal  with eight Bronze battle Stars, Good conduct  medal, Air Medal with two oak leaf Clusters, and the Purple Heart. Was wounded in Germany and convalesced in Hospital in France for several weeks.

Discharged October 9th, 1945.
