The WN 30/12/43 reported that Al, his wife and two sons were visiting from Debert NS. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cartier. In June of 1943 the WN 10/06/43 reported he was stationed in Windsor when he had a weekend pass to visit his wife and sons.

The Wallaceburg News reported that Albert was serving with No.1 RCASC and was stationed in England. WN-date unknown. He was welcomed home by the special welcoming committee chaired by Ted Carter, Canadian Legion, the war Services committee of the Dominion Glass Company. WN 25/01/46
