Raymond enlisted in January 1943. In January of 1944 he was reported on leave at his parents home before returning to Queen’s University. CDN 3/01/44. In April of 1944 Raymond was training at Queen’s University in Kingston when he had a week-end pass to visit his parents. CDN 11/04/44. He would serve as an instructor for three years and eight months in Canada. He was discharged from the army 15/09/46.
