The son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bezzo of Chatham. He was married to the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Remond West of 85 Baxter St., Chatham, and had a daughter. Victor had been with the First Kents (A). It was reported that Pte. Bezzo had arrived in England with the Highland Light Infantry. CDN 21/07/42(P)
Enlisted with the Kent Regiment, transferred to the H. L. I. and went overseas May 1942.
