Reported as stationed at Niagara Camp. The WN (date unknown), reported that L/Cpl. Bennett was stationed at Welland. He was at his parents Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Bennett of Charlemont on a weekend leave.  

The WN 25/03/43 reported Pte Bennett of Camp Ipperwash was home on a week end leave.  The WN 7/01/43 reported that Pte. Bennett stationed at Camp Petewawa when he was on leave for the holiday. He was given a pen and pencil set from the Free Methodist Sunday School,  The WN 23/09/43 reported that Victor then stationed at Niagara-on-the-Lake was on a week end leave with his parents. 

The CDN 20/06/45 reported that Victor had returned from the war.
