Born 27/07/1918 in Wallaceburg, Kent Co., ON. Son of Theo and Emma (Ritchie) of Wallaceburg. Married to Kathleen (Carty) who was living at 912 James St. Wallaceburg

Henry trained at London, ON., Ipperwash, Kitchener, Listowell, Camp Bordon, Stratford, Brockville, Trios Rivieres, PQ. Sussex, NB. And Gordon Head, BC. in special chemical warfare.

While Henry was training in Stratford the WN 26/08/43 reported that he was able to spend some time with his parents.

Date of Death: 28/06/1944, Fatally wounded by enemy fire during the Normandy invasion in France, while serving with a British unit the Durham Light Infantry as part of the CanShare program.
