Born in 1921 the son of Dr. Harry S Barlow and Mrs. Alice M. Barlow  of 142 Victoria Ave, Chatham. Brother of Douglas S. Robert Blake and William K.

Trained in Canada 18 months. Went overseas and served in England, Belgium, Holland, and Germany. In July of 1942 LAC Barlow was stationed at the RCAF Manning Pool – Toronto.CDN 28/07/42  Cpl. Barlow was in the photography department at the RCAF Toronto Manning Pool in September of 1942 and was on a short leave to visit his parents in Chatham. Promoted from AC2 to Sergeant. Was wounded and hospitalized August 1945.

Reported sailing on troopship “Pasteur” for Halifax and expected to arrive 5 September, 1945.

Discharged October 13th, 1945.
