Born in Windsor, ON. in 1927 the son of Mrs. H. W. Bailey of 191 Wellington Str. West, Chatham, ON., the brother of Ronald R191581. Lorne served 2 years with the Kent Regt., enlisting 25/09/44. The CDN 4/10/44 reported that Pte. Bailey then stationed at Wolsley Barracks, London, ON. was spending a week-end with his parents. He only served in Canada after his basic training stationed at Hamilton, ON. for nine months. Lorne was discharged from the army 18/07/45.

Two years service with Kent Regiment Reserve Battalion.

Served for nine months in Canada. Stationed at Hamilton, Ontario.

Discharged July 18th, 1945.
