The second son of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Adkin Dresden; the younger brother of Lorne C. A116327 and Marion Jeanne US Army Lieut. Nurse. Kenneth was with the First Kent’s in 1940 training in both the east and west coast. He would later join the Provost Corp and was with them shortly after D-Day besides France he was in Belgium before Holland. It was while he was in New Westminster that he married Charlotte Ellen (nee Clark) and a son Stewart.

The CDN 13/01/45(P) reported that Kenneth serving in the Canadian Provost serving in Holland “had the honour of escorting the Allied Supreme Commander General Eisenhower and General  C. H. G. Crerar 1st Canadian Army area in Holland.”  Kenneth had recently sent a group photo of his Provost Corp of 160 men to his mother.

Discharged September 1945.
